Description	The "EU News" page provides access to the press releases of nearly all the Union's institutions as soon as they are published. It also provides access to information such as the euro exchange rate published by the European Central Bank, press releases produced by Eurostat, and news in pictures offered to television channels throughout Europe. The calendar presents a selection of forthcoming events from the EU political agenda. Each of the events announced is complemented with links to background information on the subject. Links are added when the press releases are published, and the announcement of the event in question remains posted for several days.
